Default windshield washer problem...

well my windshield washer has never worked and I figured maybe the little sprayer pump motor was busted. Well after actually looking at my hood and by the wipers I noticed...I DON'T HAVE ANY NOZZLES!

That could be a BIG reason why it's not sprayin, don't ya think? I guess the hood was replaced on this car with one of the exact same color from a later year. Sooo, do I need to get a new hood? Or is there a way I can get washer nozzles in there?

I actually wouldn't mind a new hood...mine's got dents. I don't feel like payin a SHIOT load at the dealer and an intact hood at the JY is a very rare thing.

My nozzles aren't on my hood. They're on the black grill behind the hood and in front of the windshield.

yeah, on the like 94+ has them on the grill. I don't have any there either. My '92 is supposed to have them on the hood.

See if the cowling (grill) with the washer nozzles will fit on the 92. If so swap.

91s and some 92s have hood mounted nozzies. all others have cowl mounted nozzies. nozzies are fairly universal, just drill holes in the hood and you are all set. you can even buy the type that light up pretty colors! or visit a junkyard.

Instead of focusing on the nozzles, is your washer pump actually shot? (Maybe you just need a REFILL of the washer tank? )

You can easily spot it by opening the hood and ask someone triggers your washer system. There's a whine from the pump and see where the washer fluid goes....to nozzles or to the ground (if not connected).

I'll try that out, my washer tank is full.
Maybe they took the washer pump out...where is it exactly?
