Default Possibly buying an Ion1

Hey everyone.
I am looking into getting an ion 1 (black) for my wife. The first three things she wants to do are:
1) "Tint the car as black as the car"
2) Altezzas
3) Silverstar Bulbs

i was just wondering if altezzas were available for the sedans?
i heard rumors of some made for the quad coupe long ago when I had a silver ion1. (<---traded in for srt-4). anyways, I haven't been up to date on the current ion aftermarket since i've had the neon. Can you all help me out?

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Default Re: Possibly buying an Ion1

If you do get the Ion, good choice on the color Good call on the tint as well. I don't know about the Altezza's though, in my opinion, they're as played out as the mullet hair cut. It's more original to keep your stock light assemblies these days. How do you like the SRT? I was reading one of those car magazines the other day while waiting for an appointment and they had the SRT and the ION Redline go head-to-head. According to the author's of the article, the SRT smoked the ION in most areas and rated higher than the Redline overall. The SRT is a sharp little car, and would be a good place to start if I could ever bring myself to buy a MOPAR product

Altezza is the name of the JDM Lexus IS. I wonder how it became to refer to a taillight style.
Don't forget wheels and tires.

2006 ION-2 Quad Coupe

Default Re: Possibly buying an Ion1

What can I say further for this car.. I love it. just came back from a 1,800mi trip to Detroit and no major problems to report

I've never heard of Clear Taillights for the Ion Sedan (checked w/three suppliers in town) and none avail so far. I do expect companies like APC to produce them, as they are avail for the Quad Coupe.

Let me know if you hear of anyone.

Cheers!
