I'm also testing a new SaturnFans Photos feature: click on the image of the SKY for a high-res 1024x768 version.

Enjoy!

I think Saturn has found it's design direction. I wonder if the Ion Quad Coupe might borrow that front end in a year or 2?

Cool Re: The New Saturn Sky

I especially like it's going to be called the Sky, like their original concept. A lot better than that "Evoke" rumor that was going around.

Looks really good with the saturn emblem and chrome bits photoshopped out. Really aggressive. I imagine that will be something the aftermarket community comes out with quickly. How do you upload pics here?

Awesome! Glad she's SKY. Honestly, though, I'm actually looking more forward to seeing the L-series replacement. I saw a G6 this weekend and was like "Sweet! If only there was a manual tranny, I'd so buy one asap.

I like it, a lot. I liked the original SKY concept, but it was too damn cheeky to sell to the masses.

Regarding the G6, I was beside a white GT with dealer plates last night on the way home from Saturn. I stayed with the guy for a few and drooled, before rolling down the window and giving him a thumbs up, and then leaving him (running 60 in a 65 is not my taste). I really, REALLY like it. I think GM is on the right track finally.

So what? If you want Saturn only sourced vehicles you will have to wait and wait and wait. The Tennessee facility has only so much capacity. I bought a 2005 Relay earlier this month (built in a GM plant in Georgia). Very nice, has metal panels and is MUCH quieter and more solid than my 2004 AWD V6 Vue (still love the Vue too!).

it's it the FREEP too.
http://www.freep.com/money/autonews/...e_20041129.htm
of course Phelan had to make this remark:
"The new Saturns will use metal body panels -- to make the vehicles look more appealing -- rather than the dent-resistant plastic that has been Saturn's main claim to fame so far."
don't even get me started on the appeal of a dented rusty metal body panels...
