Default Horn/security problem

Ok, here is a weird one.... I lock my VUE using the fob and about 10 seconds later the panic starts going. I sat inside the VUE and did it and it looks like the car locks at first but the security dummy light blinks and then the chime goes off really fast then the dome light comes on and it starts going crazy. I have checked all the door plungers and they work just fine apparently (I did have a broken passenger side one a while ago). I brought it to the dealer and the said they couldn't pinpoint it so they just reprogrammed the computer. I am almost out of warranty and I need to know what to tell them, help!!

Does the dome light operate correctly when opening any of the four doors and rear hatch?

I have it set to "door" and when you shut the doors it stays on.

That's the problem. One of the door sensors has failed most likely.

Seems like it... When the thing tripped, I opened and shut the driver's door and then the keyless lock worked, but the security light still came on and started panic again.

The BCM sets off the alarm when it detects one of door switches activated.

So, you have either:
1. A bad door switch.
2. Open or shorted wire between a door switch and the BCM.
Also, one of the connectors on the back of the BCM might be loose.
3. A bad BCM.

Probably #1 or #2.

You're the guy that used the vacuum cleaner cord for something, right?

Haha yeah I rewired all of that a long time ago so it is good to go. The door thing just started last week. Thanks for your help!
