2000 SL2
Happy ALMOST a Quarter Million!

Hey everyone, its been a while since I last posted (lots of stuff going on). But now I am back and still loving Saturnfans! Just wanted to say that my 2000 SL2 is at 246,500kms! ALMOST a quarter million Kms. Love that car! I can't believe the relaibility of Saturns. As far as original parts go, the alternator, all A/C parts, CLUTCH!, muffler, basically everything. The only repairs I have ever done is a wheel bearing and ball joints on the left (my own fault for clipping a curb) So, here is to another quarter million!!

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Ok, based on that calculation, I have 278,000 km on my 1994 SL2. But it's SIX YEARS OLDER THAN YOUR CAR!

Yikes...250+ on a 2000!

I've got one word for you --> airplane.

Or use the google calculator, a million and one uses!

I'm at 276,000+ kilometers on my 93 SL1, that sounds so much cooler than 172,000 miles! Mine has a lot of replaced parts, though.

Very impressive, AjaxSL2Guy... what's you're secret? How often do you change your oil and what kind do you use?

For the last 50,000 km's or so I have been running Valvoline Max-Life oil for higher mileage engines. In the summer I run 10/30 and in the winter 5/30. I have really noticed a decrease in oil consumption as well. I change it every 5,000 kms. My driving is about 75% highway the rest suburb driving. I think another reason my car runs so well is no one else ever drives it. I think my car "knows" me!!!!
