Well, they advertise 205 hp at the crank, so it sounds like you have a way overperforming engine! Which is always a good thing.
Of course it could just be the way they have the dyno set up, as I hear there's always variance between the figures two dynos will report.
Any modifications?
Did you go to a drag strip for a test and tune night, or just to a performance shop? If you went to a drag strip did you make any runs?

haven't dragged it yet.... will soon tho. The guy that did my dyno said he could easily break 205whp if the temperature permitted.... Temperature today was not the best for dyno. My worst run was 191whp. The motor was very hot... so we went to go eat dinner at the local fair that was in town. When we came back, we did the 2nd run (199.5whp), then the 3rd run shortly after (199.6whp). I am going to run it again when the weather cools down a bit. The intercooler liquid was VERY high (meaning it was super hot).

EDIT: These were 4th gear pullls.

Do you have a super large fan to force feed more cool air into the intercooler? Dynos don't give you the most accurate real world WHP ratings on vehicles that rely on the car moving to feed more cool air into the engines.

Car and Driver did an article on the BMW M series seeing how differeny dynos affected it. The car was intelligent enough to know something was up unless it had a huge fan, and it wouldn't lay the power down. I wonder if the PCM in the RL is somewhat intelligent to know something was up.

Saturn underrated the Red Line. Sport Compact Car dynoed a pre production Red Line at 197 HP. I've also heard of 2 other people who have got 200 WHP with their Red Lines. So in actuality, the Red Line probably had 230-235 crank HP.

Those are some really nice numbers...and I doubt the AC made much of a difference. I believe the ECM will shut down the compressor at WOT.

The supercharger intercooler has its own separate cooling system; it is not connected with the engine coolant system. As far as I know it uses the same type of coolant that the engine uses.

i've looked and there isn't much visually to clue me in. but i have found out that the intercooler is part of the intake manifold, and i believe that it uses oil to cool it, hence the 7.5 quarts...

i may be wrong though, but i haven't been able to get a real straight answer about this as i was wondering where/how to check coolant levels for the intercooler, and if it uses engine oil, than it makes more sense to me. think i'm going to have to hook up an oil cooler if that is the case.

after actually looking, the coolant IS the same as is used on the engine, although separate. wondering if you could use a bigger/seperate heat exchanger to cool down the fluids more, bet that would net some power/reliability for the red line,

and WE WANT TO SEE THE DYNO CHART!!!! max power is one thing, but it would be nice to see the power curve/torque curve
