Saying Goodbye to My L300... As well as Saturn ..
My 2003 L300 is soon to be no more.... I have just passed 16,000 miles and all hell seems to have broken loose for lack of a better expression. After owning two S Series until recently I felt that my L offered the most value for the money for it was comfortable, powerful, dependable, etc... After about 10,000 miles the squeaks an rattles began popping up which I could live with. The throttle body iced over during the winter, the transmission slips into gear at times ( and Saturn claims that no problem was detected).
Within the last week or so, my L has went downhill fast, suffering from what appears to be severe electrical problems - upon flashing the highbeams, even turning them on, causes smoke to come from the turn signal stalk. A few days ago, my horn started working at half power, and my air conditioning has stopped working. I am dissapointed to say the least in my third Satty, and decided that it is time for me to move on. As I am sure that these problems could be fixed by Saturn, my patience has run out I am afraid.
I still believe in the customer service that Saturn provides, as well as the polymer panels, however I have purchased a 2004 Honda Accord LX sedan (in white) and added the gold emblem pkg as well as the rear wing spoiler as my L's replacement.
I'd like to thank all those that have contributed to this site, and have made it a comfortable environment, I hope to still chat here- and wish everyone luck ...

You need to change your signature. It says, "I only buy plastic cars."

Good luck with your Accord, many Accord owners never look back. Sorry to see you go.
