The return of tech talk tuesday!

hey everyone, as some of you long termers may remeber we used to do what was called tech talk tuesday, well, when i was running the shop it got a little hectic so i had to take a little break till i got settled in the new house etc.
anyways, if all goes as planned i think were going to have a better, new improved tech talk, about a month ago i approached sattech so not only could we have a different slant by having the advice of two techs, if one of us is tied up the other could cover.
it starts tonight at nine and i hope to see plenty of people join in the chat, any questions about your satty? cant never get joeybagodonuts on the phone? nows your chance! lol

WOW, thats great, and if you live in the College Station(TEXAS) area, you can order Gumby's $.50 rolls. Of course the fifty cent rolls can only be bought on Tuesdays so this will go great with the Saturn tech talk.

I was out red neck dancing last night so I couldn't make the channel Sorry.
But for those of you that don't know you can also join the chat 24-7-365 from either www.saturnfans.com or www.saturnclub.com.
Those few that are IRC enabled;
SERVER: irc.webmaster.com
PORT: 6667 or 7000
CHANNEL: #Saturnchat
Somewhere there is a list of alternate servers, but if you are at least on, you can figure them out.

I'm in the process of writing a CGI script that queries the channel and returns a list of current users. This file can be incorporated in any website with a little basic html skills. This way everyone with a Saturn website can have a link to the chat channel and know if anyone else is in there. If I were not behind a damn POS firewall I would maintain a lurker in there all the time.

I wasn't able to get thru the firewall at work last night, but now I have an idler in the room. I guess I should have thought of this sooner, so at least I could scroll back thru the posts and see what was discussed.
