No. It would be an excuse for GM to say "Saturns don't sell. Let it die."

Saturn needs to build some innovative products to get everything rolling. It's not exactly what I would like to see but at least it's a start. Saturn has to do something, especially when you start to see more and more quotes of this nature...

"Saturn is rumoured to be going the way of Oldsmobile, having actually made a profit in only one of the last 13 years."

Yea to this or the SKY or whatever the SKY's new name is now days.

Saturn really needs to get something interesting in the showroom...people will come in to look at it and just walk out with something practical like 3 box sedans...thats the way it works.

I don't like it very much. From the looks of it, it was never meant to be a production vehicle anyway.

I think not.

It's so radically different than anything Saturn makes now, and really does NOT fit in with their line AT ALL. This is not the way to promote the rest of your line, and complement it. A "halo" car like this will only serve to make your other models look crappy (and let's face it - these days, Saturn doesn't need to be doing that to themselves, the press is already doing it).

Saturn needs to take an existing model and make it PERFECT. Redline is a step in the right direction. Curve is not.

Possibly if the Curve was less "radical", it may be a viable option as kind of an L-series coupe. But releasing a car like that is just asking for it, given Saturn's perception in the media right now.

Saturn's current model lines are boring. Build the Curve. Saturn needs a new car to spice up it's model line. The Ion looks like a box, at least the Curve has some style!!!!!!!!!!

Build IT!!!!!!!!!!

I think that Saturn should build it. For the first time Saturn will have taken a positive step forward in the refinment department. But I think that they should also start now in "pushing" the momentum on to current products, until the Curve gets here. It will show that Saturn can grow, be flexiable, and refine their products. The Curve, it be coool!

Although I don't really care too much for the car, I think it would be a good move for Saturn.

Idea oh yes yes YES!!!

The curve is a great idea. Saturn does need a little something to attract more people to their cars. I have been saying that Saturn needed to create an American Muscle type car to compete in this world, and if the Curve doesn't, it will be a step towards it. They needed something that will appeal to the teens. A rear wheel drive car with lots of power is just the thing!
But I don't get where people are saying that the ION looks like a box or was just a feeble attempt that failed. What are you guys TALKING about! This car is awesome! if you look at the headlights just right, they kinda look like eagel eyes. And if people are looking for speed out their, look at the ION. Forget about Honda. The Civic held the land speed record in its class (which the ION is in by the way) @183mph. whoa. Then Saturn brought the ION to the test and shattered the Civic's speed going 207mph!:o: Holy CRAP!!! thats 20+mph faster! The ION is THE car to own if you get something in its class and your looking for speed.
But again I say that the Curve is just the thing Saturn needs.
Oh, almost forgot. The press is putting a bad rap on Saturn for some reason, but really, salea is down a bunch in '03 for every car co. Not a one of them had a good year! So you can drop this whole "Saturn is dying off" B/S!

Saturn needs to expand their lineup, maybe this would help?

The only way to find out if it will help or hurt Saturn is to try it.

I think GM needs to take a chance with Saturn and continue expanding its lineup.

I say build the Curve, Take a chance.
