VUE HVAC Air flow control problem

The cabin air flow control on my 2007 VUE was not opening/closing the deflector doors properly. Set it to floor and it blows out the defrosters or not varying the air flow coming out of the dash vents, etc. I searched this Saturn forum and other sites without finding any mention of this problem. I wasn’t sure if the problem was the BCM or the fan speed, temperature and air flow control module. I opted to try replacing the less expensive fan, temp and flow module for around $60 used. This fixed the problem. The hardest part is removing the center dash panels and especially the electrical connectors. There is a relearn procedure for just the climate control system. I don't remember it offhand, but google it. Something like holding the AC and Recirc buttons on at the same time.
