Default 2006 Vue 2.2L Door Lock Issue

Driver's lock switch being a pain. If you leave it alone for a while sometimes it works, and then if you try a couple more times it seems like it's losing power and works less and less. The other doors are the same, but not as much as the driver's door. The passenger lock switch works as advertised. Doors do unlock when put into park. No fob. (that's another question - I didn't get a fob with the car; do all Vue's have a fob?)

I had assumed the switch was going, so I replaced it. No joy.

I swapped out the 3 door lock relays under the dash with my other 2006 Vue. Nada.

I checked the 10A fuse under the hood and the 20A under the dash. Nope.

Is there something else I can check, or is the driver's door lock actuator dying?
