Big Saturn Monday Returns to SaturnFans.com October 13th! as stated on the homepage. what exactly is this?

I'm trying to bring back some of the past events that used to be held at Saturnalia years ago -- I guess you could call it a spirit day of sorts. "Big Saturn Monday" was something I used to host whenever I had lots of information to post... I would work all weekend and have everything ready by Monday. Its been awhile since I've been able to update the main SaturnFans site, so I thought it might be time for another BSM. Unfortunately, this time I'm also working to speed up the SaturnFans server. Hopefully, you won't be diappointed in that I have in store.

Next up, the return of Saturn Fest!

"Big Saturn Monday" has been postponed due to continuing work on the SaturnFans server. Hopefully there is a noticable difference in the performance of the site after what was done this weekend. I haven't finished all of the server maintenance and improvements I had planned, and because of the late hour, I need to postpone BSM. Instead of pushing all of my plans off until next Monday, I am going to attempt to get as much online later this week -- stay tuned to SaturnFans for updates. I'm really sorry for not being able to follow through with my commitment to you. I feel bad for promoting BSM on the main page, and then letting my plans fall through. My hope is that my work on the server this weekend is now helping you to have a more enjoyable -- and faster -- SaturnFans surfing experience.

Hey its no problem charlie we all know that sometimes things dont happen exactly the way they are planned. I would much rather see the site speed up more than anything else because i have noticed a pretty large delay sometimes

Same here.. No improvements so far.. Some of it may be my end as well. At least recently... I noticed a couple of other sites were moving slowly. I have DSL, but apparently, Ebay was moving pretty slow today.. Maybe it could be high traffic too.. Who knows. I just know I look forward to seeing Saturnfans, and every other site moving at a "normal rate again... hehehee
