Question 2003 Vue 3.0 L81 question...

Doing a head replacement with junkyard parts and need to know what is the torx size of the head bolts.... I have a T50 but it seems just a little to small do I need to go and get a t55??? Really don't want to strip the bolts..... Thanks 4 any info...

yes. and the cam sprocket bolts are torx. and the cam bearing cap bolts are male torx. vs female torx. you have to remove cams to remove the headbolts. doing the heads on the 3.0 is tedious for sure
