2005 VUE 3.0L
Default Making sure I do it right the first time.

Hello all.

I'm about to flush my 05 Vue 3.5. I've never done this before and this...

Notice: All entrapped air must be purged from the powertrain cooling system before the final coolant level can be determined. Proper coolant level is critical to avoid engine damage.

scares the hell outta me. What exactly do I need to do to make sure I don't damage my Vue?

Also how do I know if I have an L61?

Thanks everyone for your time & have a great weekend!

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

RPO number for Honda 3.5 V6 is L66.

L61 is RPO for 2.2 4 cyl.

L81 is RPO for 3.0 V6 engine.

Thumbnail lists basic steps needed to flush 3.5 (L66) system and I can email all the listed procedures if you want. Use private message to forward email address.

I try to visit forum often but suggest you use private messages if in a rush (comes to cell) and include email address for extracts. I seldom check visitor messages so please don't use.

I received your private message but you didn't include email address.

Matters not at this point since I determined the referenced files do not exceed forum limits.

Three coolant system files are attached and I apologize for the delay.
