Default Gen 3 Intake Manifold Vacuum Line

This coupe is one issue after another >.<

Anyway, I'm taking the intake off to install the metal tube for the coolant fix (kept trying to cut in car, couldn't do it). In the process, like many before me, I broke the vacuum hose that runs over the top of the valve cover. I was able to salvage the connectors but I cannot find the diameter of it anywhere. Does anyone happen to know the hose diameter so I don't have the auto parts guy guessing?

On top of that, since I don't know the exact length, I was planning on getting like 2ft and trimming it. Is vacuum line normally rubber so I can just cut it with scissors?

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Its just rubber tubing.
I believe its 3/8" ID, but to be sure, just take one of the connectors into the autoparts store and make sure.

Just use shrink tubing to repair it.

That's what I did with mine and it seems to be holding. I also thought about using rubber Vac hose with the same inside diameter as the OD of the original plastic tubing (is it plastic, or is it just hardened?) to use as a splint.
