94/95 swapped engine with 01.. High revs?
So my friend loves his sc1. But it's engine is just done.
He buys a used motor from a 2001..
I install it, with the 94/95 intake and tbi... I swapped all the sensors to keep the older system happy... Fires up runs awesome... high idle never goes away.
I have a new temp sender coming tomorrow, other suggestions?
Also, same transmission but now almost no pedal? New clutch disk installed... I have a new slave coming tomorrow, other ideas?
Thank you in advance for any input you care to offer

If the coolant sensor on the '01 engine is round nosed, it may be damaged and running the engine rich/higher idle. The flat nosed brass sensor addresses this problem. Was the tbi ever overhauled/rebuilt? The fuel pressure regulator and injector are wear items.
