Default replacing engine mounts

Replaced engine mounts several years ago, but the vibrations came back after a couple of weeks.Going to replace them again and have a couple questions. Is there a certain sequence I should replace them in? Should the car be on the ground, not on jack-stands when the final adjustment on the passenger dogbone bracket is made, or is it ok to do it while it's on the jack-stands? Just need your advice in hopes that the car will be vibration-free a lot longer than last time. Thanks for any help

Default Re: replacing engine mounts

there is a sequence and the dog bone on the passenger side needs to be done last. I can't remember the sequence but it is important to do it correctly. The sequence is on this site someplace as I used it before, it also has the torque spec to tighten all the nuts and bolts.I don't remember using jack stands. I will say there is a big difference in the quality of the aftermarket parts, many times the one on the top of the engine is the only one that needs to be replaced as it has most of the weight on it.
