Default Outer Tie Rod End Brand?

I'm going to be replacing the power steering rack in my '97 SW1. I figured I'd replace the outer tie rod ends too since the ones installed now are old. Which brand should I go with? I hear Moog is good. What about ACDelco's professional series?

I noticed that the cotter pin on both tie rod ends don't go through the castle nut slots. Why is this? Tightened too far? Bad part? This will be my first time doing this job.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Default Re: Outer Tie Rod End Brand?

I've always had good success with Moog suspension parts, and used their outer tie rod ends on my Saturn. Something is wrong in that picture. Either the wrong tie rod end, the wrong nut or a badly worn hole in the steering knuckle. Cotter pin should engage through the cut outs in the nut.
