Chassis vibration - engine/trans mounts?
I'm preparing a 2008 Saturn Vue XE (2.4 litre engine, 4 spd AT, FWD, 192k km) for sale as part of an estate sale and I'm in the process of cleaning it up a bit. While I'm pretty verse in the S Series I'm not familiar with the Vue. I'm finding that it has lots of vibration in the chassis when idling in gear in similar fashion as an S Series with a failed top motor mount. What can you tell me about the mounts on the Vue; is there a common mount that fails and would be the low hanging fruit to resolve the vibration? I've noted there is an upper and lower trans mount (1 & 11) on the right side and an upper an lower engine mount (6 & 19) on the left side. I appreciate any input you have.
