2006 VUE Red Line
Default Vue 3.5 sparkplugs not tight

...ANYONE COME ACROSS SPARKPLUGS NOT BEING REALLY TIGHT ON THEIR 3.5'S . THE MOTOR I GOT TO REPLACE MINE WERE BARELY HAND TIGHT . ALSO I THINK THEY WERE CHANGED BEFORE , THEY WERE CHAMPIONS WHICH LOOKED SIMILAR TO THE STOCK DENSO IRRIDIUMS ,WHICH I PUT IN, ALSO DID THE TIMING BELT AND WATERPUMP . THE MOTOR HAS 74,000 MILES ON IT. ALSO CONTEMPLATING DOING THE SCROLL VALVE UPDATE WHILE IT'S APART , ALSO TRANS LINES. THIS MOTOR IS VERY CLEAN , IT CAME FROM CALIF. I WAS GOING TO DO THE VALVECOVER GASKETS TOO , BUT NOTHING WAS LEAKING OR ANY MISTING OF OIL ANYWHERE. AND THE MOTOR WAS NOT CLEANED. ANYWAYS, BACK TO THE PROJECT, THANX, DC

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Youíve got some time before you need to do the valve timing but itís a lot easier to do the rear valves out of the car.
