If you are talking about the 1st Gen Geartooths (which are hard to find now)...

If memory serves me correctly- those were alloys and were never made in a plastic hubcap cover.

There were Steelies (Steel Wheels) that had the plastic hubcaps- most notably the "Soccer Ball" design, and then the alloys that were sawtooth, geartooth, and a few others; whose names are alluding me at the moment.

I did find this website- although I know there was another website that had a comprehensive listing of all of the designs for the wheels...

www.car-part.com

I am not familiar with all the different 1st Gen alloy wheel styles, or plastic covers for the steel wheels.

That link is for searching used auto parts, at salvage yards, and some yards are even able to post pictures/videos of the condition of the parts, as well as vehicle mileage, price, and contact information.

I'll just be honest with you on your pricing: I buy/sell just about anything I can get my hands on to.... I buy junk rotors from all over at local straight scrap value and then flip it at the "bulk" rate since I'm normally bringing in at least a half to 3/4 of a ton of rotors..... With that, there has not been a geartooth looking hubcap ever.... so thus you are needing to buy the alloy rims, and I just called one of my yards this past week (to get my pricing update so I know what I can pay and I asked for Alloy rim price and it was .63 a lb) I picked up a set of geartooth for under that a while back with 2 good Douglas tires but that's because the guy just wanted to get rid of them, I bought this week another set of geartooth at about scrap value as back ups... most of the time it just means being at the right place at the right time especially to get them any where close to scrap value.... If you are trying to pull them out the junkyard $28 + $15 core for alloy rims..... that's roughly $175 for all 4 if you can find them in a yard....
