Saturn Ion Wheel Swap
Just joined the forum. Done some research online and on this forum and looking for a direct answer to my questions. Thank you for any help.
We currently have a 01 Saturn SL2 with the factory 15 inch wheels with new tires on it, we are looking at purchasing a 2006 Saturn Ion with factory 15 inch wheels.
I'm reading conflicting advice on whether the center bore is the same between the two vehicles wheels. Are they both 57.1 center bore?
They also have a different positive offset from what I've found. With 42mm offset on the Ion and 50mm offset on the SL2.
Would I be able to swap wheels between these two vehicles without any issues? (I know the tires are about 1/2 inch different in total diameter, so the speedometer will be slightly off) 195/60r15 on ion vs 185/60r15 I believe on SL2.

Re: Saturn Ion Wheel Swap
The wheels from your SL2 should fit just fine. I once temporarily mounted the 15” alloy wheels from a 2000 SC2 on my Ion and had no fitment issues.
