Dizzy Rear cat piping? Why is bank 1 weird?

Kinda direct as title 😂 is there anyone anywhere that knows why there's a huge loop to the collector. But why. Only thing I can guess is equal length "headers" was their reasoning for it because they didn't place actual exhaust manifolds on it. But how much power loss can there really be without equal length. If any. With a good collector there shouldn't be any problem. Anyways, does anyone have any real info on this. Facts? Resources? anything?

Thank you! :

REWARD EXCELLENCE!
