Wrench "Reverse" EGR Adapter in pre-production! (adapts a vacuum EGR to an Electronic head)

Announced -- it has been designed and prototyped and should be going to production at my machinist next week! I anticipate the prices being between $30 and $40. Fitment is a little tight, and the saucer does touch the (second generation air intake). It may need a little bit of padding when actually installed in a vehicle.

This will allow swapping a head or engine from 1995-2002 into a 1st gen car. PM me for details or to reserve your part(s).

In order to do this, I had to go outside the Saturn "box" and this will ship with two M8x25 and two M6X25 metric cap head screws included (the stock screw heads are too wide for the tight fitment)

Cheers!

This adapter was quoted by my shop yesterday and I can produce them at $30 each, including shipping within the USA.

Nothing has been cut, I need to have at least 5 people purchase one before I can give my shop the "go ahead" to make some chips. I've posted to a couple facebook groups too, so hopefully we can reach the minimum. It would be a shame to not produce after the engineering work is done and ready to go.

10 adapters have been made. 7 are still available. When they are gone, they are gone unless demand reaches a high enough level to justify a second run.

They will ship with all necessary fasteners included.

That is actually not a bad idea as the 1991-1994 engines are probably pretty dried up in wrecking yards and most of the remaining salvage 1st Gens have been crushed long ago.

Yep, someone here had the idea and I executed it. It's a good thing to keep on hand if you own a 1st gen car.

Looks more complicated than I thought it'd be, but awesome that someone put it into production

Thanks! I sold 3 to a forum member, but still have a few available.

I like making Saturn parts, and as long as I can break even I'll keep making them.
