2000 SL1
Default Another S Series saved from salvage title

My 2000 SL1 (with crank windows and manual locks) got hit in the right rear quarter. It was a hit and run, but we caught the perp on security camera footage. Damage consists of taillight housing, rear bumper cover, and rear fender. No trunk damage, all plastic. The perp’s insurance company wanted to total the vehicle. For me to get it back, I would have had to apply for a salvage title, and wait two weeks to get it from the state. I fought hard, up thru 2 levels of managers, but they finally gave me back my car, and a check for $1800, after I signed a “Concealed damage” waiver. It only has 55,000 miles on the clock. I was not going to take no for an answer.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Does Pennsylvania allow you to rebuild vehicles on a salvage title, similar to Ohio?
