Default Just passed CA SMOG good things to watch for

Just passed for another 2 years but almost failed for two things. The guy said he was being nice. Good things to check for before you go...

1) Insulation on the front O2 sensor wire warn. He said the wire must be well protected and water/debris resistant. My wire had caught in the fan at one point and it chewed on the insulation a bit. So I've ordered another pack of GM looms to secure routing.

2) Almost kink in the PCV hose at the intake manifold. I should have checked this better because last year my Focus failed for a kink in the PCV hose. So make sure the hosts have absolutely no kinks. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The actual tail pipe numbers were good, I was less than1/2 of the max for HC, CO, NO and 15 at 25 mph.

Yep, I got nailed for a cracked elbow on the PCV line once. I now have simple hose there, but it may look kinked to somebody, and certainly is "non stock". I have a pristine stock line that goes on at smog inspection time to avoid any concern.

I always go to the same smog shop, they know me now and know I'm not a "secret shopper" sent by the State. That way I get a little leeway on things like this if one pops up.
