Default Wiper arm

Yesterday I didn't know my drivers side wiper blade was frozen to the windshield. Turned it on and it snapped apart. Where can I get a replacement and how to install?

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

probably junkyard is best bet, though it's a tough time of year for that.

Black plastic cover where it mounts to the cowl just flips off.

Underneath the cover is on 13mm nut. Spritz it with PB Blaster or something, undo the nut completely. Don't drop it

Pull the arm off,* put new arm on, put nut on, replace plastic cover. Done

*harder than it sounds. Do not pry underneath, that is a plastic cover that will crack. I bend the arm up at the joint, which lets me wiggle it until it loosens enough to pull off the splined shaft.

In another thread, eric02sc2 mentioned using a battery post puller to get the arm off the shaft. That lead me to this

May not be necessary though, but keep in mind if you get stuck

The Wiper arms on the S-Series were a universal size over the entire run of production. I am fairly 99% sure that I have a few spare wiper arms in my garage.

If you are in need of one, I can ship one to you-to save you time having to go to a JY in the cold.

Would $10.00 plus shipping work for you?

Let me know and we can get something set up. I may have the wiper arm cover as well.
