2003 VUE 3.0L
Default Can Vue AWD function be restored by Versatrak fluid change?

My son took the 2003 Vue AWD off-road to a familiar loose traction situation to see how the Vue AWD functions compared to our 2003 Subaru, which he often drives there (he works at a ski resort). The front wheels spun in the dirt and the rear wheels did not move (he had an observer watching). He tried everything and is experienced driving off road. I have read how the Versatrak system fitted to the early Vue works. I have also experienced odd rear wheel behavior when cornering the Vue in the wet, nothing like our Audi Quattro, Subaru AWD, or Land Rover 4x4s exhibit.

Can changing the Versatrak fluids alone restore VUE rear differential function?

REWARD EXCELLENCE!
