Default rear spoiler removal

I am trying to access the high mount brake light mounted in the rear spoiler on a 2008 Saturn Vue. I took off the interior upper trim and removed the 7 nuts. That is as far as I got. Apparently there are two clips that are preventing the removal of the spoiler. I find no access to these clips. Other than trying to pry off the spoiler and risk breaking it or drilling holes from the inside of the hatch, I see no solution.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

2008 VUE 3.6L
Default Re: rear spoiler removal

Honda,
. According to AllData, there are ONLY three bolts to remove the spoiler on my 08 Equinox Sport. And it is VERY similar to the 08 Vue. I would provide a picture, but my phone is not letting me.

07 Vue V6 AWD LOADED!!! aka SUPER CRITTER!!! Sadly gone, and definitely missed.
08 Equinox Sport 3.6 6 spd auto, AWD, even more loaded. And the jury is still out on it.

Hello Lord Varon. Thanks for the reply. Not the same as the Vue. There are 7 nuts which I removed. But there are also two pair of clips, one on each end of the spoiler. I have a url to a parts diagram but the forum will not allow posting until I have 15 posts or more.

Click on "Liftgate Hardware Part 1" for the diagram. See Items 43 & 44.
