1997 SL1
Default Stabilizer Bar??

1997 Saturn SL1 . When replacing other parts we noticed that the two bushings on the Stabilizer bar are wearing away and need replacing. Does anyone know the right ones to order, and I mean does anyone know the dimensions of the bar because there are several sizes out there??? Why are parts so much of a pain to figure out sometimes! Thank you if anyone knows the answer to this one. My two brackets look good just those bushing are cracked and falling apart in spots.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Default Re: Stabilizer Bar??

I think we need more information. Are we talking front or rear suspension? Where are the attachment points?

Perhaps you're referring to part 17 (GM part #21011235) on the first diagram below? They are the same for SL1 and SL2 regardless of the sway bar diameter and it comes with the bracket if I recall.
