Default What Day Is It?

“What day is it?" asked Winnie the Pooh.
"It's the day mnfidel joined" squeaked Piglet.
"My favorite day" said Pooh.

Heh

Yeah I know I technically "joined" a while back, just haven't actually posted until now.

You people really know your stuff. I've browsed here over the last couple years. We bought an '02 SL2 two years ago for our teens to drive to school and work. The more I learn about these cars, the more I like them. Easy to work on for the most part, and fun to mess with. Now that those teens are in college, I made it my daily driver. Sure beats the pants off my F150 when it comes to mileage!

Anyone else here from MN?

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

I have a nephew that went thru a few cars as he learned about driving. Ignoring certain facts between horsepower and fuel economy, he settled on a Cadillac CTS-V (550 hp Vette engine with supercharger). His first remarks were "I use a lot of fuel". Premium fuel and high hp in NYC driving drains his small 12 gallon tank fast. He doesn't drive granny style. I made him aware of the trade offs between mild cars and high hp cars but he ignored me. Some things are learned the hard way.

There's a lot of folks from MN, but the S-series owners mostly hang out in the S-series general or tech forums
