Default 1999 Saturn sc1 issues starting.

Hello, I searched the forum, but couldn't find the same problem.

1999 Sc1 new plugs &wires. Automatic.
Car will sometimes die while driving or just idling. Car will also randomly not start. It will crank, but not start. After trying to start it for anywhere from 5- 15 min it will start, and work fine until the next random occurrence. I was thinking cas, but figured I would ask here. Thank you in advance.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

What's 'cas'? As a newbie, try the first sticky in this forum about the original coolant sensor failure and t-stat replacement for hard starting/flooding/rich running/high idling/xmission shift issues. If your idle is above 1k rpm, its probably the original coolant sensor (round nosed plastic). The flat nosed brass replacement fixes this problem permanently.

CAS is often used (on other cars) to indicate "Crank Angle Sensor", the CKP sensor, along with CMP if the system uses one.
