Default A/C pressure switch

The FSM doesn't call for discharging the A/C system prior to changing the switch. I'm assuming this is a mistake and that there isn't some type of diaphragm in the manifold at the compressor. Anyone here actually need to change the pressure switch on a Vue?

Hmm, parts diagram shows it sits over a valve. Maybe you can replace it without discharging. This is the valve it says it sits on.

The diagram is correct. Typically the pressure switches sit above a shrader valve that will close when the switch is removed.
