![]() Sometimes when I put my warm Saturn into Park the engine RPM's will jump to around 2200-2300, then slowly drop down to normal. Please understand that this does NOT repeat, that is it is not a continual surging issue, that is it does not sit there and go up and down, up and down, etc. Runs like a swiss watch otherwise. Any ideas?

![]() I would suspect the IAC (idle air control) might need cleaning....and while you are in that area, clean the TPS and Throttle body just for good measure.

![]() I just went through this. Replacing the Throttle Position Sensor fixed it for me.
