Default Right front brakes 04 Vue awd v6

I've been having issues with my brakes. Started out 6 months ago. Changes pads and rotars on both front brakes. Two months later the right pads were metal to metal again. Changed the rotar and the pads again on that side only. The left waS just fine. The caliper was fine at this time. Then another two months at most and bad caliper, pads, rotar again. Changed them all again. And now the brakes are grinding metal on metal again right side only. This was all in d406 month period. Any suggestions.

Search within these forums for front recurring brake hose failures, choking from a bracket strangling both hoses. This prevents pressure release and near continuous brake application to both front brakes. Replacing both front flexible hoses corrects the problem. It isn't the calipers, brake pads, lack of grease or misalignment. Its the two hoses.

If you find the thread, you'll see a member cutting the hose to show the strangled portion, restricting pressure relief.

Tell him he's not crazy or misinformed about brake maintenance. Its rare, if ever, for flexible brake hoses to choke from incorrect bracket design or hose deformation. One member here found it. Its probably so far under GM's radar and Saturn closing before a recall made, leaving owners to find out the hard way. Saturnfans is one of the few public forums sharing 'inside' information from members willing to post their experiences.
