Default Jumping idle on astra?

Have had this problem. On friday it got worse when I was at a light. Usually the jump is pretty small. I cleaned the throttle body well, and booster hose, and same problem.

Could it be the internal IAC or MAP sensor?

Is it a jump or a drop? I've experienced an occasional drop at a stoplight for the last 6-7 years (feels like it's going to stall, but doesn't). It's never been something that happens often (maybe 2-3 times a year), and it seems to happen completely randomly, so I guess I haven't worried about it. I think others have had the same experience. I've never experienced a jump though.

Apparently I talked to a mechanic about it and he says its the pcv valve built into the valve cover. He said if your engine runs rough when you pull out the oil cap, its a bad pcv. I've confirmed its likely the culprit because the pcv hose spits out more oil than usual. They are cheaply built it seems and go bad, and it isnt easy to replace just the pcv, unless you can risk getting a cheap quality one from china. At the moment, im trying to get an aftermarket aluminum because I hate the idea of having cheap plastic valve covers that can break when you pull them apart.

I've had some really bad ones here and there. I'd would just try some premium gas and see if it improves.
