Default The O2 sensor on the header

What is it exactly called? I need a new one. It's the sensor that plugs into the exhaust manifold/header.

Default Re: The O2 sensor on the header

Rockauto and most places list O2 sensors by 'front' for exhaust manifold/pre cat or 'rear'/post cat. Technically, GM uses front sensor descriptions as O2S1 front, O2S2/rear. In V6 engines four sensors are described is relation to which cylinder bank; O2B1S1, O2B1S2, O2B2S1 and O2B2S2. Sophisticated sensor have heaters. Lambda (O2) sensors are also described as wide band sensors.
