Dizzy 2005 Ion 2 Serpentine Belt

Hello All,

I am looking to replace my serpentine belt before cold weather hits and after checking out several parts websites I'm noticing that there are several sizes available that all say they will work with my vehicle.

The lengths on these belts vary greatly from 60 to 88 inches. While the widths range from 1.3 to 2.0 inches.

Is there a specific size that will work best? It seems like there is an awfully large variety available.

Thanks,
M

Welcome to SaturnFans, mjgranger! If you look closely at the cataloging you will see that the difference in belt length is related to whether or not the car has air conditioning. There appears to be some variation in length across brands even for the engine with air conditioning, but don't let that be too much of a concern as it is rather small. All belts have five ribs so there shouldn't be any variation regarding belt width. Take a look at the RockAuto.com page linked to below. Personally, I prefer GATES brand belts and they have served me well.
