Default 02 VUE Vacuum line needs home

Hi folks,

I just picked up an 02 Vue 6cyl AWD with a few issues for cheap.
One of these issues is a rough idle. I think I found the root cause of the shaky engine when I see some vacuum hoses dangling. I located 2 of the hoses from the IMRC to both of the VVT variable valve timing modules. What I haven't found is where the input line goes that supplies the IMRC.

I"m including a picture (found it online) pointing to the line that needs to go home.
There are some small green arrows pointing at the line in question.
Perhaps a kind soul out there has one of these jewels and knows what direction to point me to.

Just did valve cover gaskets and spark plugs on the wife's Vue ('03 V6 AWD), but I was also left wondering if this came disconnected from something? Unless I don't understand how it works, I imagine it needs a vacuum source that I couldn't find.

My L300 uses vacuum to control the intake manifold runner control valve from a vacuum line going to a vacuum manifold by the rear of the engine. A small black plastic box and another tube connects to the intake manifold. Mine use blue hard plastic (nylon?) lines.

Correction - the IMRC is an electric solenoid controlled valve operated by the ecm. The valve provides vacuum to open and close ports to short and long intake runners.

In the OP's picture, this hose is connecting to the IMRC valve, but is a very short hose. Are you saying you have something on yours that connects to this hose?

^ If you are asking me a question, my IMRC solenoid valve has an electrical connection to the ecm and vacuum connection, via small diameter blue nylon line to a rear top engine mounted vacuum supply reservoir. A vacuum tap is on the rear of my intake runner to supply vacuum to this reservoir when the engine's running. The lines are clearly in view. I do not know how Vues are setup so I would recommend a member with the same engine examine his for comment. Biz, perhaps you can revisit the junk yard for other Vues to examine IMRC setup too or wait for member replies.
