Dizzy '04 Ion 1 Speedometer Needle won't light.

Howdy, new to the forums. Browsed a bit unregistered and appreciate a lot of tips from many threads.

I have a 2004 Saturn ION 1 2.2L and have (in the past month) noticed my Speedometer Needle is not lit while the others (temp, fuel, tach) are perfectly fine and dim with no issues.

I've checked the wiring and there seems to be no issue there.

The needle itself accurately tells my current MPH, but it's a bit difficult to see it at night. (I work 3rd shift, so the more I can see while driving to/from work, the better.)

Is there any way to replace the little bulb itself, or do I need to get a new Instrument Cluster?

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

I do not know how to replace the light in the needle.

BUT, I do know that a new instrument panel is available in the junkyard. The mileage is stored in the BCM (computer) so it doesn't matter what IP you install, the mileage should be the same.

Removing/swapping the IP is easy.

Next time I go to a junkyard I will play around and learn more to pass on.

i'll watch that youtube, but how come people tried to do themselves and it didn't work and even dealers refused to reprogram used clusters?
it's all here if you search.

PS: I saw that video before and this is about replacing bulbs and not the cluster, duh! Bad advice.

fixed/replaced so far: side mirror, window trims x4, trunk floor, radiator bushing, alternator, starter, LCA x2, sway bar bushings x2, end links x2, timing chain tensioner, O2 sensor.
