Default Rubber sealant question

why does the bottom trunk have white glue on the rubber sealant? while the doors and window area lacks the white glue? why is this do i need glue on the door and window area? thanks

What white glue are you talking about? What is this "rubber sealant" that you're refering to? Is it the trunk lid weather stripping or something else? Is it possible for you to upload a picture, or pictures?

^Okay, so we're talking about some sort of "white glue" found on the weather stripping at the trunk. It is not found on the door weather stripping or around the windows. Thank you - that's a start. Do you have a cell phone or digital camera with which a photograph can be taken and then uploaded to the website, or do you prefer to receive blind guesses from fellow SaturnFans members?

Someone may have used caulk or silicon to stop a leak.

How about a picture of what your asking about? I don't recall seeing any kinda "white" substance your talking about? Unless someone used after market silicone to fix a problem that now your seeing.
