Default May Be Buying 2009 Vue Hybrid

I'm thinking of buying a 2009 Saturn Vue Hybrid with 125K miles for about 6K. Any advice pro or con? Thumbs up or thumbs down? Any particular issues to be aware of?

My thoughts - pretty close to the opposite. We put ~140,000 on our 2007 VUE GL. Let's be honest, the resale value on any Saturn VUE is pretty poor. No one buying a 7-year old, 125k mile car should be too concerned about resale value anyway. The hybrid battery (post recall) never had any issues, so it didn't cost us a dime. There were a few recalls to deal with battery production issues, but they were solved years ago, and you can check to see if they were applied to this particular car. Our VUE GL was incredibly inexpensive to keep on the road, so the comment that it "doesn't last" is a little off-the-cuff...

It isn't for everyone, but it sure worked for us. We miss it. We saw it on the road the other day with its new owner - glad to see it's still being enjoyed.

I rarely visit forum but respond to private messages (PM). PM creates email to phone & please include email address with question. Avoid using Visitor Message feature ... I almost never check those.
