Cool New Car...still a Saturn Fan

I just bought a brand new (8 miles on it) 2003-L300. What an awesome upgrade from my previous 1996 SL2m (168+k). gotta love the automatic.

but I will miss friend. It was totaled in a flash flood. My insurance company is giving me $3,300 for the SL2. I'll take it!!!

Yes, there is a huge difference in ride quality between my SL2 and L200 also. My wife drives the L for work, but if I wasn't so attached to my SL2 I'd look for a used L for me to commute with.

Nice wheels! You'll love the car. Those L-series are really something!

Good luck! Enjoy the car!

Congratulations on the new Saturn and I hope this one serves you as good as or better than the old Saturn.

It stickered at almost $23k but with all of the dealer incentives, discounts and rebates, I'm financing just under $17k. Couldn't beat the deal.

I will miss, however, the SL2m, with the 5-speed and power moonroof. But I now have a slick looking car with a V6 and a nice 6-disc changer.

It's one or the other I guess.

Thanks for all of the comments.
I'm glad to remain a Saturn owner.

Man, those things look like a 99 Contour.

I'm sorry.

Not that it's bad; I quite like the look of the L (although I thought the previous generation looked a little more..."saturn-y", if you will).

But anyway, that's a sharp-looking L, and a great bargain. Good shopping!
