Anybody want anything off the car in the linked photo album below? The car is in Canada but I will ship parts to the States using Canada Post. The whole car can be had for $400 if that interests anyone.

It is still licensed and insured. It's had an easy life (one owner, retired lady) and the engine and transmission are good with 172,000 km (107,000 mi). A/C compressor is shot along with other notations in photos. New exhaust from flex pipe rearwards.
2000 Saturn SW2 AT
Let me know what you're interested in. The ship from location is North Bay, Ontario which is 3.5 hours north of Toronto and 4 hours west of Ottawa. Postal code is P1B8G2.

body is rusted out, AC broken, everything else looks so clean! especially the interior.

Are the seats any kind of comfortable? Any idea if they would fit 1999 SC2?

Front seats swap '91-'02 with 2 issues: Coupe passenger seats have an auto-forward function for getting in the back that 4dr's dont have (not a true issue...as you can manually slide the seat forward & back) and sometime between '98 and '01 the seat mounted buckle changed (keep the one in your car now to be safe).
Rear seats are kinda tricky, the backs are unique to the Wagon and the bottom is unique to the Coupes (bottom can change the plastic bolster and it works fine; backs you have to strip and modify the frame).

I think Fetchitfido pretty much covered the compatibility question. They are pretty comfortable seats comparative to my 2001 SL2 leather seats. I think shipping costs from Ontario to British Columbia would kill any deal. Any plans for a summer road trip?

As of right now, no road trip plans to Ontario, though maybe by train... Wonder if there is a way to get them back that way...

Considering junk yards want $300+ for a single seat, what would shipping and all be?

All Saturn seats swap and the Gen-3 SC2 seats are the most comfortable of the bunch.

If you are going to pay 300 a seat.... Let me find a good set of seats in a wrecked car that has a good motor/trans and pay a bit for it.... Then sell the 2 front seats to you for $600.... DANG

But its funny I'm looking on this post.... I'm in the process of shipping seats (fronts only) from here (1 hr east of Chicago) to Omaha for Blue92... (These are out of a low mileage 94 HCE).... What Im doing is taking off the seat track.... Complete seat is about 35 lbs.... The track alone is 14 lbs (according to blue92) it took about 30 mins max to take off both tracks, and that makes the cushions with metal about 20lbs... When he gets them, can rob a track (seat belt comes off with track) off any old seat (so just use your trashed seats tracks)

Will let you know what I figure out best for shipping wise

For the rear (going some place else) I striped off the fabric and the fabric fits in a Nissan hubcap box

Wanted: Dealer items (frames/ key-chains)

Did you want me to explore shipping them to you using the method Saturninin?

I know I can get them (2 front seats, complete) to Toronto by bus for $75 from here. Saturninin's method should work with a courier but I'd need to disassemble them to figure out the shipping size and weight. Unless Saturninin cares to share that information......

Sad to see her go buddy! But that is a lot of corrosion no doubt.
I am lucky my 96 SL2 is still on the road and the body is in good shape thanks to some previous owner using KROWN some time in it's life. That stuff is a must in the great white north if you want to keep a car!

Your car reminds me of my '00 SW2 except mine was that copper color.

That sounds like a lot of extra work for you. I had pictured basically wrapping them in plastic and slapping a label on it, dropping it off at the bus depot or something. If it is going to be a lot more work than that, don't do it. The seats do come apart relatively easy, but it is a lot of time, and that isn't something I can ask someone else to give up Plus, then I have to reassemble them!

TL,DR: if it ain't easy to do, fuggetaboutit!

I use Krown on my SL1 and it has fared much better than this SW2 which belongs to my Mom. At my recommendation she started using Krown a few years ago but it was too late. She needed to change cars anyways as the Saturn was getting too hard to get in and out of for her. I didn't realize the unibody was so bad until I tried to sell it for her.

I'm trying Corrosion 3000 on my Suburban. It is said to be a better product, is applied every 18 mo rather than 12 mo and it is not as messy. Hopefully it will live up to its reputation. I imported my Suburban into Canada from Texas 2 years ago and applied Corrosion 3000 right away so it has a good start at weathering the Canadian environment.

Send you a PM. I should note that this block heater will fit 1998-2002 S Series. I believe there was a different fit from 91-96 and I'm not sure if this one will fit 91-96.
