Default Farewell and thank you. Parts for sale.

Hi all,

I just wanted to say thanks to all who have helped me keep my beloved saturn on the road over the past 3 years that I have owned it. This was my first car and this forum has helped me tremendously when needed advice. As some of you may know I was having a persistent wheel vibration issue; this turned out to be a blown differential. Now it is damn near seized and given i am moving into the city next year, I have decided to buy myself another car instead of putting a new transmission into this one.

Now it's time to get rid of it. If someone in the area is interested, i'll let go of the whole car for 650$ CAD. It is a 2000 SL2, 194000 kms, 5spd manual. The car is located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
Otherwise, there are tons of good parts on the car that i can ship out for minimal cost. Here are most of the good parts:

-Set of sprint 2.0 springs on KYB GR-2 struts. Sachs front mounts. OEM rear. 15k on struts and mounts, 5k on springs.
-Thermal R&D cat back exhaust. Has some rusty colored spots underneath both otherwise excellent shape. 20k.
-Kenwood radio with harness and dash kit. Perfect working condition. 30k.
-Nissens radiator. 15k
-Rear disc brake calipers. Cosmetic rust. 20k
-Starter. 10k
-LCAs. 10k
Lots of other good parts too. Ask me for anything and i'll let you know. Make me an offer on anything! I will post pictures of the car and interior shortly.
All mileage is in KM's.

For those who are curious, I have purchased a 2007 Mazdaspeed 6. 6spd manual, 276 bhp, awd, lots of fun.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

How much to ship a muffler to Bay City, MI?

Very interested in that. Wish it was a automatic though. I'd be buying your VB right about now, lol.

Man it would probably be a lot less work to put a transmission in it than it would be to pull all those parts and do the whole shipping thing.

Haha, no. A valve body is so much easier to change out, than swapping a whole transmission. Only a few hours for the job.

Back on topic, is there anyway you can cut your muffler off and ship it? Depending on what kind of condition it's in?

I was on topic the car has a five speed and could be swapped out in less than a day, he has a lot time and effort into his car and it would be a shame to see him walk away from it, If the car was in Ohio I would buy it and make a buck or two

It is a shame and i really hate to see it go, but you have to remember that up here in Ontario cars tend to rust pretty quickly. At 15 years old, my underbody is looking questionable.

As for the muffler, I'm not sure i really want to cut it off. Id like to sell the exhaust in one piece and id rather it be local because its so large and a hassle to ship.

How much for the entire exhaust?

For the whole exhaust, how does 100$ CAD plus shipping sound? Your dollar is a lot stronger than ours right now and that puts you in a good position. Its just the shipping that will be killer.
