2001 SL2
Default Hello from the Midwest

I bought my first Saturn in May of last year (2014) and fell in love with it. It's my first ever sedan. I've had trucks, fast coupe imports, and a few muscle cars. I needed something good on gas for college and traveling. Ended up with the Stormtrooper aka Nessie.

Car specs:

2001 Saturn Sl2 (stock 1.9ltr DOHC)
New air intake (some no-name company with some custom parts)
4" muffler
Soon to be painted valve cover (for fun)
Aftermarker shift knob
New transmission and clutch (woops, dumping the clutch is bad)

It's been a fun car. I do a lot of my own work but am a college student on a budget. Looking at doing a header and possibly a glass pack since the car's exhaust is a pretty straight shot, but I'm worried it will be crazy loud.

...
-I wanted a Honda, but I didn't want to say that I drove a Honda, so I bought a Saturn.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Oh! Forgot to mention price and what not.
Bought if off a guy who intended for his 16 year old daughter to drive. Lucky for me, she couldn't drive a stick to save her soul. He bought it off an Airman from the big air base in Cheyenne, WY who used it to drive around on base. I bought it at 62k miles, it's now sitting at 67k. Only paid $2300 . He was asking $4000, I pulled out a random number from the cash I brought and asked about 2300. He took a second then said yes. Should've offered 2000 haha. It also has brand new tires on it. All seasons.
