Default passenger door handle assembly 1997 SC1

for some reason I can't locate the spring loaded outer door handle assembly on the interlink for part replacement. anyone know of a good site for one? the outer door handle broke off at the assembly inside the door. I bought one used from ebay and was sent a broken one and the wrong size
1997 sc1 - I'm only looking for the spring thingy that the outer handle attaches to.. thanks for any help!

Not 100% sure what you need but #14 has a part number (21098554) and about $20 shipped price ($15 plus s/h) from NallyGMC

If it's the metal tabs that handle bit goes into that broke, they're easy to replicate with sheet metal, a drill and 2-3 rivets per side of handle. Seemed to be a common problem on 1st gen coupes which I've had 2 of, the 2nd gen's appear to use the same style handle.

...
The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a 5spd O:)
