Default Engine Stutter Between 3500-4000 rpm

My Astra has been doing this really annoying shudder between 3500-4000rpm... While merging on the highway or at WOT (while the engine is under load) it goes from no power, to all the power, back to no power and continues back and forth until I'm over 4000rpm and then it smooths out. I'm not throwing any codes but I thought it might be the timing actuator valves and/or the MAF so I replaced both of them and cleaned the throttle body and it didn't help. My next thought is that it could be something to do with the intake runners on the manifold. Has anyone else had any problems similar to this?

Any help is appreciated!

When was the last time you changed your spark plugs? You could be seeing the early signs of a bad coilpack.

Thanks for your reply,

I don't know the exact km but they are E3's and are way under their "warrantied" time.. for whatever that's worth.

None the less I will check them in the upcoming days.

Would a coil pack only manifest itself before 4k rpm? Is there a way to check to see if they are functioning properly?
