Sad factory stereo not working after I reinstalled it.

I pulled out my factory factory radio to look at the harness connecter so I can order the correct one for a aftermarket stereo install. I re hooked the factory radio up to last me untell I get my new radio installed. It now does not work. Any suggestions? Its all plugged in. Clock displays but not light or power to factory radio.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

This will be generic, but check your fuse anyway, lamp and clock power could very well be separate power. And check your antenna is plugged in. Can't remember what car, but I recall installing a radio and it would not pass " power on" test before wrapping it all up. Until I realized it used the antenna for ground.

If the clock displays, you have power to the radio. You can try to pull the related fuses to reset it, but chances are the radio is dead.
