4 Rib crank pulley on my 2005 Redline?
I just picked up a 2005 Ion Redline. While changing out the serpentine belt I discovered that the crank pulley is a 4 rib pulley rather than matching the 5 ribs on the rest of the pulleys.
Anybody have any idea why this would be set up this way?
The belt that is on there currently has had the 5th rib removed on the entire belt.
I did some searching and was unable to see how having 'less' ribs is better than more.
PS, I need the stock, 5-rib crank pulley if anybody has one!
